Westminster Presbyterian Choir, USA

Benjamin Hutchens – conductor

As part of their concert tour of Norway, the Westminster Presbyterian Choir will make a special stop at The Arctic Cathedral, bringing with them an inspiring and diverse programme of outstanding choral music.

The programme spans several centuries of choral repertoire, showcasing both Norwegian and American composers. Audiences will hear beloved Norwegian works such as Ave Maris Stella by Edvard Grieg, Cry Out and Shout by Knut Nystedt, and Ubi Caritas by Ola Gjeilo, alongside music by distinguished American composers including Dan Forrest, Gerald Cohen, Alice Parker, Annabel Rooney, and others.

Known for their expressive singing, musical versatility, and rich choral sound, the Westminster Presbyterian Choir performs a wide-ranging repertoire that embraces both the great sacred choral tradition and contemporary works. Their performances are marked by artistic excellence, warmth, and a deep commitment to musical storytelling.

In the magnificent acoustics of The Arctic Cathedral, beneath the last rays of the midnight sun, the sound of this exceptional choir will create an unforgettable musical experience. This is a concert not to be missed.
