Cathedral organist Thorsten Ahlrichs offers a 45-minute program filled with Christmas sparkle, virtuosity and musical fireworks on the Arctic's largest organ.
The program includes Johann Sebastian Bach's famous Toccata and Fugue in D minor , a virtuoso arrangement of The Bell Carol , as well as German, Norwegian and French Christmas music. The audience will also experience Camille Saint-Saëns' iconic Danse macabre , which allows the Arctic Cathedral's mighty organ to express itself in a rich spectrum of sounds and moods.
