Tromsøysund parish offers grief groups and day center services.
Bereavement group for survivors of suicide
This group is run by the voluntary organization "Andreasjelpen", and it is a help for self-help group.
Here you meet others who are in the same or a similar situation, and together you find "tools" and strategies to move forward.
Group leaders are Trine Norvåg and Arne Sund.
WHERE : The meeting room at the parish house at Hans Nilsensveg 41, entrance from the bottom of the building, i.e. on the upper side of Otium.
WHEN : The group meets every other Wednesday (in even-numbered weeks) at 6:00 PM.

Grief group for children:
This spring we want to be able to offer a grief group for children who have lost a close family member. It will also be a meeting point for the adults who accompany the children. Contact TH896@kirken.no to register.
Group leaders will be Therese Heiskel and Aileen Zahl.

Thursday meeting
Thursday meeting is a day center offering, a social meeting point where there is singing, exercise, entertainment and a raffle. Feel free to bring a prize for the raffle. Coffee, waffles and dinner will be served.
WHERE : The parish hall on the ground floor of the parish house, above Otium
WHEN : Every other Thursday at 10:30-14:30. In 2026 we will meet in even-numbered weeks)
PRICE : You pay a deductible of NOK 150 (incl. food), plus any "rows" for the raffle.
Neighborhood dinner
One day a month we invite you to dinner together with others. Here we serve homemade food with dessert and coffee. We have activities for children and young people, and those who wish can relax with good conversations both during and after the meal. Welcome to a pleasant social gathering and mealtime fellowship!

Low-threshold tour group
Every other Thursday in odd-numbered weeks, Tromsøysund and Kroken congregations organize walks to the lavvu in Tromsdalen/"Gutta på skauen". We meet at the parking lot at Elvestrand cemetery at 11:00. Everyone can walk up at their own pace, and then we take a joint coffee break at or in the lavvu, depending on the weather. We offer coffee and a single meal. The offer is free.
